Zhuhai and Henan, China

After crossing the borders of Macau, we've reached Zhuhai, China.

This is my older sister, Melissa. If it wasn't her and her husband Jeff, we'd never visit this part of China.

Haha! Here she is all grumpy cos she's hungry.

At the border in Zhuhai. They have loads of cheap clothes and shoes but we didn't get to shop. We needed to rush down to Henan.

Jeff hired a driver to drive us down to Henan. It was approximately a 2 hours drive.

China is just so different. Even though it's just a stone throw away from Macau.

Before heading to Henan, we stopped by for some famous Zhuhai fresh seafood.

I don't know what this is.

Plenty of choices. All fresh.

Abalones anyone?

My pretty mommy and I.

I can imagine them in my stomach now. Yum!

My baby sister, Mandy and I.

Mommy and Mandy.

Next will be pictures of food we had that day.

Tofu.

Shrimp

Escargot.

Black pepper Squid.

The restaurant where we had our lunch.

The dude in red is my brother-in-law, Jeff. And the dude with a ciggie is the driver and the lady is our assistant during the trip.

I can't read Chinese, so there if you ever want to find this place.

Seafood market right outside this stretch of restaurants.

Here I got photo bombed by Melissa. I think it's a cool picture though!

My three favourite girls!

Mandy and myself! I must say, during my HK/Macau/China trip, my face still looked a little strange with my braces. All puffed up and shit.

Leaving Zhuhai!

Taking off! 2 freaking hours!

China pretty much looked like that all the way. Not very pretty.

*I slept all the way to Henan, I didn't take any photos.*

At a market place at Henan. Baby Chicks! So freaking cute!

Finally arriving at our hotel. I honestly can't remember the name of our hotel but according to Jeff it's the best hotel in Henan. Google that okay.

Lobby.

That's our driver for the entire trip.

Okay first, dinner time!

Fresh worms wtf. At least that's what I thought it was.

The restaurant where we had our dinner. I find it a struggle when there's no signs in English. I'm honestly glad that I can at least speak Cantonese.

Their version of a high class restaurant. The food were pretty good though!

Three Roast.

Fried lala.

Stewed Eel. It was so fucking good.

Egg baked Crab. Yum!

After the meal, we went back to the hotel for a hair wash and back rub. It was strongly recommended by Jeff. So we went for it.

Spacious area for hair wash.

The next morning was when I finally get to check out Henan from the hotel room.

Let me tell you, Henan is the dustiest place I've ever been too. There were construction sites everywhere.

I guess it's a developing town.

Ugly pool.

Right next to the hotel.

The suites aren't fantastic but it's pretty comfortable and clean.

It's way to big for 3 people though. Melissa and Jeff have their own room. We coulda share.

Clean toilets at least.

We had dim sum at the restaurant in the hotel for brunch before making our way back to Macau. It's Jeff's favourite dim sum place in town.

Lotus with Salted Egg Yolk Pao.

Quite a nice restaurant.

Waiters and waitresses speak Cantonese here.

Mommy and me!

Yum yum egg tarts.

Pig's insides.

Bachang.

The cool hotel lobby.

They have an aquarium of turtles and sharks at the lobby. I find that inhumane. :(

Koi fishes.

I tried Googling for the name of hotel but can't find it.

Good luck!
