Winter Wonderland, London

This is me now. I dislike going out for meetings when it is raining so heavily like that but HK's weather is rather erratic. When Red rain was hoisted when I woke up this morning, I was semi-celebrating then after I brush my teeth and got ready it turned to Amber rain Oh well, off to work I went.

I'm at this place now waiting for my candidate/client. Hopefully, the rain will subside when I finish.

Here. I wanna blog about my experience in UK last year later today. Hopefully I can find time.
What a day. I can't wait to get home to be in a hot shower and hang with my boys. It is a strange day because I wasn't as busy as last week, at the same time I feel like I have done a lot.

So, this afternoon when I went out for interview it wasn't Amber rain but Red rain. I feel so accomplished wtf. If that was not dedication, what is?

Today's weather and this other hour to wait for me to get home is just fit for this blog post to cheer me up.

So many things that pissed me off yesterday and today. I just want to be curling up in my bed and be ready to sleep by now so that the day will be over.

On the bright side, I guess I can really book my flight tickets tomorrow. The whole incident with CheapFlights.hk was a nightmare. Never again will I use them.

I'm going to talk about my trip to the Christmas Market at Hyde Park. Seriously, I can't wait till it is Christmas. Mulled wine and mince pies. Can't wait.

This was my first experience at the London Christmas Market even though I lived in England/Wales for like 3 years.

Get to share my first experience with this monkey. Though I must say, I wasn't too excited with the photos because of my cold sore.

Yes! Winter Wonderland. Actually Niseeb and Raj came with us too but I am having a hard time locating the photos I took with them. I bet they are pleased with that.

Anyway..I always get excited about Winter Wonderlands. It makes me happy and jolly. So much fun!

The skyline was gorgeous when the sun was setting.

Last year we had to go to #MazeGrill after the trip to Christmas Market. It was a mistake in our planning. I was salivating throughout the whole walk. So much food that I liked there and it was a waste cos we are going for such a great meal and didn't want to ruin our appetite. Shame!

This year, that ain't gonna happen. I will allocate a meal time to be there to eat! Nyam nyam!

Banana Nutella Crepes. I was warned that I can only choose one snack. So I chose this! And also, this store was very pretty.

The majestic Christmas tree in the middle. Surrounded by yummy food and alcohol.

Mulled wine..yum yum.

We tried very hard to take photo with the tree. It was an epic fail. I knew that the selfie stick/monopod that I just bought is going to be the best investment ever.

Some street artist from Poland carving a statue there. That was quite random but people just stood there to eat like we did..and watch him I guess.

Maybe this will entice @yuennyyee to visit London with me over Christmas..

Now, why would one say no to that?

I obviously decided too early on the one choice of snack. Sigh!

Then we saw this. What is Winter Wonderland without its cotton candy right?

And that was his choice of snack. Such a big kid.

I absolutely love the Christmas atmosphere.

Barrel of Larry's. Perfect for alcoholics.

The santa and minions combo. It was too cold for me to play with anything cos I didn't dress warm enough that day!

Maybe this year!
It is going to be a blast this time because we are more prepared with the crazy weather. I have more photos but I probably have to dig it out.

If you are planning a trip to London during Christmas, please don't miss the Winter Wonderland! :)
