Countryside at the Outskirt of Cardiff, Wales - Wild Fig

Instead of going for a strawberries picking date, we ended up strolling around the countryside in Wales. Well, Cardiff. Outskirts of Cardiff of course!

We were early for it this year. It turns out, the strawberries picking only starts the next day. Oh well, we didn't lose out too much. We enjoyed the view so much.

Love the farm. Love the peace.

I was trying to take the picture of that house by the mountain but didn't realise that the horses were in the picture as well! Heee!

Actually, it may very well be ponies but they were so cute. One of it was trying to flip its hair off its face :) And how adorable IS that?!

Hello!

Oh yes, finally just the house. I wanna live in one of these!

Organic homemade jams, sauces and crackers!

Nice cafe in the middle of the valleys. Wild Fig.

Dramatic picture of flowers. I'm getting better.

You didn't think I wouldn't snap a picture of the chicken barn with heart shaped windows would you?? LOL

Mimi Pie.

Freshly made chocolate ice cream!

Wild Fig. Don't know how we found it but we did! In the middle of the farm roads and countryside. Everything is great that day!

I guess it's not always about city breaks and shopping.

Bath other than the Roman Bath Spa - Mulberry Factory Store

So what else is there in Bath other than the famous Roman Bath Spa? Don't get me wrong, I only found that the Roman Bath Spa is no longer interesting because I've been inside for 3 times.

Outfit of the day.

Don't be fooled by the weather forecast and the fact that it's Summer. Good old cardi and tights is still very much the essentials.

For breakfast, we had McD's hot cakes. Why is it special?

It's special because I barely would made it for breakfast. Always supper. Never Breakfast.

And Bath is so clean, you can even take a bath in their fountains.

Check out Roman architecture. Beautiful.

We arrived at 9 am in Bath, obviously shops aren't opened yet. So we head to the outskirts of Bath to do some shopping.

Damn shiok right. Same stuff for so much cheaper. We are damn smart, you're damn stupid.

Two bags and one t-shirt for me and two HUGE bags for Polimon. She told me the reason Mulberry's factory shop is in Bath is because Mulberry originated in Somerset.

Wow, don't we learn something new everyday?

Ok, now go Google your way there.

Back to Bath City Center.
By now, you should know Sushi is one of my main diet. I think the place is called i-yen. Or yen. Something like that.

The food is okay only, really unlike how some of my "friends" have raved about it.

One plus point though, it that the service is great and ingredients used are really fresh. So I guess anything made freshly is always good.

Nyam nyam!

As to why, I can't remember the name of the restaurant is......

Jeremy Ho. As soon as we met up, we didn't stop chatting.

He's the male dramatic version of me. Only worst.

Drama King vs. Drama Queen. Ok, I surrender.

This is one good sheeeet.

Salmon's Fin soup. Damn cheapskate this restaurant, use Asda Value tissues but charge so much!

Makan makan!

Heeeeee! :D

Walk-See-Walk-See after eating.

Long lost friends. And I can see my eyebags in this picture.

And...

Last picture to sum up a great day out! xxx

The trip up north is definitely the love-hate kind of trip. We didn't wanna go cos we're knackered but we promised to go and later sort of looked forward to it.

It was overall a good trip. Loved the getaways and funny jokes throughout but I doubt I'm gonna share them here lol

Thanks again to Leon who have accommodated us and Raisin (his housemate) and Mrs. Raisin whom we have yet to meet properly.

Love the door slamming!

Who needs to get angry when all you need to do is slam the door?!?! :D :D :D

Have a good day y'all!

Costa Brava & Barcelona, London

Thankfully, Costa Brava is such a beautiful place that I managed to see past the fact that I lived in a sucky hotel.

The views around the cliffs were magnificent and they have the most beautiful sunset ever. I've never seen a sea so blue and the sky so red before.

It was almost magical. The sand were soft and white but I suspect it is artificial. Who cares though, it's beautiful.

I walked around a lot and snapped loads of photos.

The time difference is 1 hour ahead of UK so, it didn't really affect me too much. I enjoyed hanging out at their coffee houses having cakes and teas chatting and enjoying the different culture.

People in Spain, in my opinion, does not discriminate other races (well, at least not those I encountered) and are really friendly and courteous even though they might not be fluent in English enough to communicate. It's definitely something very positive about this country.

I have to mention again that I love their paela and I still miss it every now and then but La Tasca's paela is just so crap, so I might have to wait for the next time I visit Spain again.

The hotel I lived in was literally right in front of the central bus station in Lloret de Mar so I hopped onto the bus to Barcelona, which is an hour ride.

I got up late, so I kind of wastes half a day when I arrived at Barcelona. But I managed to squeeze in a visit to the Chocolate Factory and the famous Aquarium in Barcelona.

At the Chocolate factory you get to see statues and models made out of chocolates and how chocolates were produced. The tickets were super cute too, they were chocolate bars.

The Aquarium is famously known for the glass tunnel where you can see the fishes and sharks swimming over you when you stand on the revolving flooring. It was awesome and worth every penny to be able to see all those rare fishes and sharks. The sharks were HUGE and the pictures does not do them justice.

The day ended with some waffles, hotdogs and a ride back to Lloret de Mar.

I would totally do it again!

The only thing I regret is that I didn't manage to see Barcelona enough.
