Whuddup y'all!!!

I'm so excited for MTV World Stage that's happening on this 24th July 2011!

It's happening at the place where Christmas happens everyday!

Yes, you've guessed it.

i-City.

I went there a couple of weeks ago with two of my ex-housemates/besties. It's like a city of light there!


Oh yes, it looks like CNY there too.


And then Christmas...


And then CNY again!


They have the biggest reptile collection in Malaysia. I'm not sure if there were entry charges or not but people sure seems to be enjoying themselves.

i-City is quite a nice place to take a stroll with the family. I almost feel really safe walking around there snapping pictures at the night sight.

When driving in, there may be traffic. You pay RM10.00 per car to enter the city. There were ample parking space in the parking lot but most people park by the road fearing that there won't be any parking space in there because of the jam.

If you're there, you should really just park inside. It's so much safer.

We went to A&W for some midnight snack after i-City and chatted for a good 3 hours.

Nothing is better than a Rootbeer Float for me at night!

The Venetian Macau Resort Hotel and Mall @ Macau

To blog about the entire trip will take too long and honestly, I am quite sleepy and am counting my blessings that I am not rushing for too much work at the moment. The calm before the storm wtf!

So...what about some hotel review? I haven't done that in a while and I think this hotel is worth reviewing about.

The Venetian Macau Resort Hotel is now the largest building in Asia and second largest in the world.

It's a bigger replica of its sister-property in Las Vegas.

It was pretty impressive.

I've stayed in quite a number of hotels before and this one did not fail to impress me.

Thanks to my big sister who planned and fully sponsored this trip. Lovess!

Once we've landed in Hong Kong, we wasted no time and headed straight to Macau by ferry that departs from HKIA itself. We took the TurboJet. It was a 45 minutes journey. A pretty comfortable ride if you ask me.

As soon as we've reached the port, The Venetian Hotel bus sent us to our hotel.

Just part of the building during the day. I have more impressive pictures of the building at night. I'll probably post it in my later posts about Macau.

It was definitely a distance to walk from one end to another. You'd probably need one of them scooters wtf.


I rarely complain about the hotels I've lived in but I am super particular when it comes to the hotel bathrooms.

A nice huge bathroom! Reminded me of The Ritz, London. They have nice huge bathrooms too.

I love.

I like how they separate the toilet bowl from the entire bathroom. I told my mom that that's what I want for my own home.


A dresser with a huge mirror is a must! :)

From the fabric layering to the choice of colours they used, you can tell that they planned every tiny detail in this hotel room.

There are two TVs in each room. One at the higher level and another at the lower level.

I like that, it's really considerate.


Golf course outside the hotel. Reminded me of the crazy miniature golf back in the UK!

The swimming pool that, by the look of it, not many people uses.

The journey from my hotel room to the mall was a pretty long journey by foot, so I'm just gonna skip straight to the mall.

The artificial sky. It was pretty awesome. The whole design of the mall. Really really impressive.

I guess it's something you can't miss if you go to Macau.

Pompeii, Italy. Is it worth visiting? Yes!

Sometimes I never realized how lucky I was traveling all over Europe (not literally but many places) during my university years.

People always ask me where are my favourite destinations. Now, I will say my home, second is Sorrento and closely followed by Pompeii.

I can tell you very honestly that I didn't know where I was heading to and knew nothing about this ancient city before I went there.

Not sure how many of you have wached the movie Pompeii where Jon Snow (Kit Harrington) from GoT played the lead guy.

Wah look at his sick abs. Actually the movie wasn't very good. It was good up till the end where it got cheesy even for my level. I do like cheesy movies. And, I don't like the lead girl. She is the lead actress in Sucker Punch I think. At least she can fight in Sucker Punch. Here, she just fall over and pout most of the time.

Anyway, traveling there during summer gave me a mild heat stroke and a not so flattering tan but nonetheless enjoyable.

Yes, I was one of those irritating people who take photos of the description in case I forget what I read..and then I forgotten now this description is for which part now.

The grounds.

It is true when they said that prostitution is one of the oldest profession in the world. That is in fact what Pompeii was thriving on. Basically, sex was a big thing there. According to the documentary I watched about it, it is to prevent men from keeping mistresses. I'm sure there's more to it.

Okay la, show you a funny photo of me. I don't even know where I was looking when this photo was taken.

There were so many brothels and sexual carvings on the wall and floors of Pompeii. You can see the beds and rooms as well. It is pretty sad and also scary thinking about women or men who were prostituted against their will.

You can also tell which ones are the high class brothels and cheap brothels judging by the size of the rooms etc.

Outside the residential area.

This ancient city have been well preserved for centuries because of the lack of air and moisture. You can definitely see the detailed insight into the life of a city. The city was discovered around 1,650 years after the eruption that wiped out the entire city. It was a Spanish engineer who discovered it.

It felt strange knowing that people actually lived here and it was once a thriving city. And all that is gone when the volcano erupted.

I look quite different from then as well. That was before I had my braces.

As you can see, the weather was lovely and I was about 10 shades darker wtf after this trip.

You can clearly see the mountains in the background. I can't imagine living near a volcano - I'd be living in fear all the time.

It was such a huge area to walk that day. All the ruins and relics were endless.

I wish I spent more time there now because I understand more now and would know what to look out for.
