This is a rough shopping list for 2. For my husband and myself.

Please note that I've swapped banana for apple or orange as my husband doesn't eat banana. So check the menu to make sure you have the right amount of fruits.

If I missed anything, do comment below so that I can include it! :)

Denbies Wine Estate and Surrey Hills Brewery, Dorking

7.21pm now and I am on bed. Showered. And feeling sleepy. Living the life of not working and still get to enjoy the weekend like you working folks.

Ok fine, that is half true since I am doing freelance projects now. Haha

Today I was unexpectedly enjoyed myself so much. The weather was beautiful and @milkystainz brought me to a vineyard. I've always wanted to tour one when I went to Europe and Australia but never got a chance till today. 😁

Ignore my made-me-look-like-Baymax sweater and see how happy I was. I did put on some weight but not THAT much.

Sunny weather. I even get to replenish my tan from Aman Dusun with #Sisterhoodies.

In my hand was a lovely cup of honeycomb hot chocolate that I have been dying to have since a few weeks ago. Finally ☕☕☕

My handsome man and the March vines.

It is at its dormant stage now but still very pretty to look at.

We came for the indoor tour and wine tasting. I like how we get to roam around the vineyard freely. They even allow dogs so maybe next time we can bring Dug.

Today I remembered why I loved UK so much when I was studying here but now I have a more grown up reason to and my taste has changed so much.

The view was beautiful. I don't mind sitting there all day. It was sunny and slightly chilly. The prefect combo.

After booking our tour, we had 2 hours to walk around and take photos. We covered the whole place but we will come back again in August/September time during the harvesting of the grapes.

Apparently Denbies is the biggest wine estate in England.

Not sure if I posed for this or was it candid but my legs were shockingly short in this photo so you only get to see half of it.

And then there is a photo of him drinking his curiousity cola..no, seriously.

See. I told you.

Anyway, we went to a brewery in the wine estate. It is called the Surrey Hills Brewery. It is not associated to Denbies at all. They were just renting a space on the land. The dude who sold is the beers told us. He was awesome. He recommended a really good place for food at Dorking town center to us. Tell you more about this later if I remember and don't fall asleep before tomorrow.

One of these is a winter beer. Not sure which one now. Hoho!

Wine Tasting Tour at Denbies Wine Estate, Dorking

Obviously I fell asleep last night!

Today's weather is not as good as yesterday. Thank god we went to Denbies then.

This photo to show that sometimes I can take good photos too.

So, just want to continue about our very exciting wine tour. These are fermentation tanks. Now I know why white wine is white, red is red and rose is pink.

The tour was really informative. Made me understand a lot more about wine. The wine expert said that there are no right or wrong in wine. Just go for the taste you like best. Which I so agree. I don't really care abt red meat red wine concept most of the time. But I like all 3 types depending on my mood.

The wine expert showing us the different types of vine growing at the vineyard for different wines and country influences on the methods and growths.

I never realized that there are so much science involved in growing anything. I guess I knew but never really thought about it.

I also understand why wine is expensive now.

This is the first time I've been to a cellar. It was pretty cool but also quite creepy if I was alone. Reminded me of those horror reality tv that I've watched.

@milkystainz and I opt for the still wine tasting instead of the sparkling wine/champagne because I get drunk easily with anything fizzy. It was 3pm during the tasting. Just way too early to be merry.

I liked the red wine the most. It has this woody oak taste to it. I like.

I also found out why aluminium were used to wrap the top of a champagne bottle in the past. Simple and cunning reason but now, it is just purely for packaging sake.

Decorative barrels.

Enjoying our tasting.

It was overall a really good experience for us. I completely did not expect J to bring me to such places because it was more of my thing than his but he really enjoyed it as well.

What a happy day! Another weekend to remember.

We are moving into our new home in 11 days. We are very very excited and also feeling very broke all at the same time! Furnishing and renovation ain't gonna be cheap yo! 😂😂😂

Valentine's Special: Fish Works, London and Wicked!

We are flying back tonight. I have frantically started packing yesterday and I am pretty sure I have missed something. 1.5 hours till our ride comes to take us to Heathrow. I am really excited and sad...all at the same time.

Dug is very emotional this morning. He saw us packing. Jesse is sad because he had to come back alone after this.

Anyway, my Valentine's day weekend was lovely. We spent both days in London. My favourite city as you already know! 😁

Woke up to these on Friday. Excuse my hair, we were drenched from the rain.

I was very happy but also confused because I told J not to get me any flowers since I won't be able to enjoy it. Sigh sigh!

J wasn't happy that they sent flowers that have not bloomed. But it is now blooming and I am leaving..so sad.

He know roses are my fave and this is the combo I like. 💑

We watched Wicked on Friday night. I have been waiting so long for this because it was so expensive to watch in Dec and Jan. So it was a perfect Vday gift for him. He loved it!

How glorious!

I actually like the cast in London a lot better than the US version as I've watched on YouTube before I went for this one. The Elphaba here sang so much better than Idina Menzel as Elphaba.

I loved it 💞💞

On Vday waiting for the train at the cafe to go down to London.

It wasn't too cold in the day so it was really nice.

Funny how fresh I looked just a day after..I needed my sleep.

My loverboy and his super lush honeycomb hot chocolate. I instantly regretted my chai latte after tasting his. I will be back for more.

Initially we were going to have lunch at Hawksmoor but we saw Fish Works and they have tables!!!! They are usually fully booked. So we went there instead!

Anytime also can Hawksmoor so no need to go on Vday haha

It doubles as a fish shop. Fresh fish. Damn cool.

Drinking mimosas like fancy people.

What we ate there. We wanted to eat dessert at Cafe Concerto but it was too comfortable there and we ended up having our full 3 course there.

I recommend you to order from their Daily Landings list. Everything we ordered was very good.

Next we went to Hamleys. It was like a carnival inside. Packed with tourist and crazy shop assistants. It was quite fun!

I will never go into a shop with that many people in the past but after HK, I must say, this is nothing lol

This one was for @yuennyyee!

And then we got carried away..

We got tickets for Britain's Got Talent. But we didn't know we have to wait 3 hours at least before starting time to get entry tickets and we got turned away 😭

The guy felt bad that we went there all the way but he said that they will contact me again for next show..I guess I will have to wait till I am back then.

I was gutted.

All these bitches managed to get tickets.

Anyway, I went on a rage shopping spree after that because I was so sad. And J happily accompanied me. Very rare situation we had there.

I was looking forward to it the whole time.

He even posed for this to please me. Hahaha

And then I demanded for Chinese food and we walked to Chinatown.

And then we saw another giant panda. Just because it is CNY I think..it is the year of the Sheep right? Maybe they didn't get the memo.

Chinatown was packed. Just like in HK.

And then, I got what I wanted. #somuchwin

Steak & Lobster at Liverpool Street, London

💟 He went downstair to get me water at 4am even though it was so damn cold because I was thristy.

💟 He bought me sanitary pads because he doesn't want me to go out in the cold. *I feel very lucky and paiseh at the same time.

💟 He rubbed my neck when I had a bad neck.

💟 He brought back Pink Moscato for me yesterday on the way back from work.

💟 He waited for me for 2 hours in London alone just to have lunch with me.

💟 He reminds me that he knows how much I've sacrificed for him.

I love him.

Anyway, we tried out Steak and Lobster last Tuesday. But we were lobster out so we had the steak instead.

Like Lobster and Burger, £20 for each meal. Unlimited fries for both and unlimited salad as well for Steak and Lobster.

The steak was good and the fries were better than the fries in Burger and Lobster.

The salad was inconsistent. It was nice and just right for our first order but damn salty for mine on the second. Maybe they didn't want me to eat so much wtf 😖

We finished with a coffee and tea each.

I guess it was worth the try. I noticed that a lot of people go there on a special occassion.

To get there - get on the Underground - Victoria line and get off at Warren Street.

I've been sleeping so much lately. But I've also been dreaming a lot and had nightmares. I hate to dream. It made me feel like I have not slept.

5.09pm now and I am feeling sleepy again.

I told J not to get me anything for Valentine's day. Especially flowers because I will leave to go back to KL on thr 16th Feb and won't be able to enjoy the flowers.

But he got me this backpack when I was in a meeting with my project partner in London. So much love!

It is from New Look. I fell in love with it when I saw it in Westfield last week. So happy.

I got bad shoulders and neck so I can't hold my handbags for too long now. So a backpack is just what I need. Keep my hands free and I can keep them my pockets to keep warm. Wow wee!
